Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Greyson is a lifelong athlete, playing baseball at the international level (based in Phoenix, Arizona) for most of his youth, until the age of 17 when he discovered the art of Jiu Jitsu. He immediately fell in love with both the physical and mental aspects as well as the benefits it could provide (due to being overweight in his younger years). At that time, he devoted his life to training, finishing high school by studying independently through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and continuing his studies in the health and fitness, strength and conditioning, and nutritional fields. Over the last several years, Greyson has trained with high-level coaches and athletes from all different backgrounds and specialties all across the country and from all over the world. He has competed all over the US, is an IBJJF World Championship quarter-finalist, currently competes in Jiu Jitsu professionally for organizations such as Wanderlust Grappling, Fight to Win Pro, and others. He has many years of teaching experience with children and adults, both male and female.
Having dealt with health issues and injuries in the past, Greyson began training with Jon, Jeff, and Jim in 2015 and has studied strength and conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention principles extensively under their guidance ever since. Greyson recently received his Poliquin Group Level 2 Strength Coach certification in 2017 with intentions of furthering his knowledge by pursuing more advanced certifications in the future. Greyson prides himself in using his prior knowledge and experience in multiple sports, arts, and training methods to provide his students and clients with the best experience possible.
